Hotwire Communications recently attended a seminar and panel discussion for condo managers, HOA managers, and Board members hosted by the Aventura Marketing Council at SIRONA Fine Art, in the Village at Gulfstream Park.

The event was sponsored by Hotwire Communications, FirstService Residential Property Management, and the law firm of Weiss Serota Helfman Cole & Bierman. These events strive to educate members and attendees on new challenges, responsibilities, and joys of managing properties.

Hotwire’s Area Vice Presidents David Ramos and Carl Lender, Account Management Supervisors Paul Whillians and Denise DiPerna, Meredith Spira, Hotwire’s Florida Attorney, and Hotwire Account Managers got an expert update on new Florida Condo and HOA laws by Joshua Krut of Weiss Serota Helfman Cole & Bierman. Michael Kurzman of the same firm gave an informative presentation on Condo Construction and default issues. The Hotwire team met with many local property managers and condo attorneys.

The event gave our Hotwire team a much clearer picture of the tremendous responsibilities associated with managing a Condo or HOA. The team found out firsthand the challenges and joys of this role, and it gave attendees a much better understanding of the job of Property Manager.
